Bob’s Sea & Ski was founded in the mid 1960's, as Cape Cod Skin Diving School. In the early 80's, Whaling City Sea, Ski, & Outdoor Sports was established on Pope's Island, just east of the historic Fairhaven-New Bedford Bridge. Bob Mercer, Jr. took the helm shortly there after expanding product offerings to include winter sports. Today, Bob's Sea & Ski is a second-generation brick and mortar store who proudly offers cutting edge dive, snorkel, ski, snowboard, & watersports equipment.
